WHAT WENT DOWN AT KINO #10?

Plenty of fun was had at our October screening, Kino #10. Angrydan (pictured) brought his beatboxxing, synthy sampled beats and live guitar down and played us into the second half, and did the right thing by bringing a short film too, so he fitted in a treat.

So, getting straight to it, these are the people who screened at our October night :

Vahid A Goossun - A False Story About Terror
Helene Balazade - Baralbinade
Michael Glass & Matt Moore - Art Detection Services
Awat Osman Ali - Seminar
Dean Ali - All That Could Have Been
Laith Sami - Dark Mime
Ben Slotover - Zantrox and Stockbroker
Andy Lewis - The Seat
Stefan Von Hauser - I've come to this alone while you, coward, were accompanied by memories
Howard Cohen - Maps ( a challenge film!)
Paul Goodman - Flatmates Episode 2
Mariano Melman - The evolution of puppetry

CHALLENGES
A challenge film was awarded to Stefan von Hauser for showing a film over 6 minutes. The audience decided he should make At 3:34pm. Take from that what you will Stefan, and we hope to see you back at Kino with the results soon. Likewise to Kino compere Jamie, who (after a couple of beers) volunteered for a challenge film along with Emma Rozanski. They're to make A film where all the characters only see themselves in mirrors, reflections. Crikey!

PRIZES
In our prize draw Ben Slotover and Mariano Melman won an annual pass to the Prince Charles Cinema, and Howard Cohen and Michael Glass won group passes to the IMAX cinema. Thanks to PCC and BFI for those really great giveaways.
