Kino London returns to the Horse Hospital on Monday May 18th for another night of brand new shorts. A true open-mic night, Kino's monthly night provides a regular, uncensored platform for London's indie filmmakers.HOW TO SCREEN

With no pre-selection, filmmakers book themselves in on a 'first-come first-served' basis. Abiding by a few simple rules, they then turn up with their film on the night, ready to pop into the player! And, based, on our April screening, you'll receive a very warm reception.
In return for this open platform you must follow the famous Kino rules:
- films must feature 'Kino London' logo (or simply the words) + screening number (5) at the end
- films must be under 6 minutes
- films must be presented on DVD
If you can't tick all those boxes but think you've got a convincing reason why we should screen your short, get in touch. We may be open to a little bit of arm twisting.

We're very pleased to announce that indie filmmakers network Shooting People - who have been huge advocates of indie film for over a decade - has come on board once again to provide some give-aways for our filmmakers.
For those unfamiliar, Shooting People is the world’s largest network of independent filmmakers. Over 36,000 members in the UK and the US share tips, recommendations and news, and cast their films using the nine Shooting People daily bulletins. Over 300 films are cast and crewed each week using the services.
